Non-CO2 Aquascape Tutorial - How to Set Up an Easy Low Energy Aquascape

Guide to setting up an easy Non-CO2 Aquascape in a 45cm Aquarium. We show you the step by step process including hardscaping, plant choices and the planting process.

The key to aquascaping without CO2 is lower lighting and choosing the right plants. Along with a good maintenance routine and regular water changes of course!

We have chosen easy plants from Tropica's range of plants (except Cryptocoryne Parva, but i believe this should fair ok!). Tropica's easy plants can thrive with lower lighting levels and no CO2 injection.

Equipment wise we are using a 45cm Optiwhite Aquarium by AG - illuminated by the Twinstar 450e LED light (reduced intensity using the Twinstar Controller - 40%).

I hope you enjoy this simple non-CO2 Aquascape tutorial.
